The Birth of a:musé

I'm thrilled to take you on a journey that led to the creation of a:musé—a company born out of a passion for candles and perfumes. From the early days of secretly sampling my mom's perfumes to a deep fascination with scents, this adventure is a testament to our commitment to craftsmanship and quality in the world of fragrances.

My love affair with candles and perfumes has roots in my childhood. Whether it was sneaking into my mom's collection of fragrances or eagerly seeking out free perfume samples at stores, I was drawn to the world of scents. There was something enchanting about the power of fragrance that always captivated me.

As I delved deeper into the world of candles, I stumbled upon a shocking revelation. Paraffin wax, a commonly used candle material, is derived from the same source as gasoline. Learning about the potential dangers posed by paraffin wax candles to both health and the environment left me both concerned and determined to make a change. Moreover, paraffin wax was often used because of its cost-effectiveness, which raised questions about the quality of the products being sold.

Fueled by a desire to create safe and aesthetically pleasing candles, a:musé was conceived. I envisioned candles made from the warm and calming beeswax, a material I had cherished since my childhood. The decision to prioritize beeswax was a deliberate one, given its unique and enchanting scent.

To bring my vision to life, I collaborated with Gasper Premoze, who designed the vessel for our candles. We used 3D printing technology to create prototypes, meticulously refining the size, feel, and grip of the candle vessel. After extensive testing, we arrived at the perfect design: one made from pristine white porcelain.

Our commitment to quality extended to the fragrances we used. We sourced first-grade perfumes, crafted by professional perfumists, to infuse into our candles. This ensured that each a:musé candle was a sensory masterpiece, offering a harmonious blend of scent and design.

Our Launch

In just a few months, a:musé was ready to take its first steps into the world. The response, support, and feedback from our customers have been nothing short of incredible. Currently we are in 2 big European retailers store. As we move forward, we are brimming with ideas and innovations for the future. Our journey has just begun, and we can't wait to make each idea a fragrant reality. We also recieved a few awards for designs, startup and best product.

It's about reimagining the scented experience and bringing it to others in the form of beautifully crafted candles.
